You need to get the ginger color out of the mohair before you can re-dye it.
Here is a link to how I have done that :http://www.teddybearsforum.com/showthread.php?t=78 It is always best to FIRST do a test sample to see how your mohair will look in the end.
If you use this method your fox will have a vintage look. The mohair will not bleach completely white.

If you want your fox to have an old vintage white tail, for example, why not get a white mohair that matches the pile of your ginger mohair and age it a bit by washing it first, dry it and then age it a bit in a tea solution. If you want an uneven look on the white mohair you can also tie the piece of mohair before you soak it in the tea. This way you will still have a "white vintage look" on the fox.
