I didn't see a thread like this, so I decided to start one here. This is definitely un-beary. I am curious what type of music everyone likes and also if anyone plays an instrument. I love most all types of music except I'm not really crazy about the pop music of today, but my favorite types of music are bluegrass, southern gospel, classic country, and oldies of the 50s and 60s. I play several instruments, but mainly piano.

I like 60's and 70's music, gypsy violin music and many foreign songs, Spanish etc.

I love rock music and will sometimes listen to some classical music as well.

I like country, classical and rock and roll from the 50's and 60's. Use to listen to a lot of music but now only have the radio on when I am in the car. My hubby has one tv on all day, so I listen to what is going on there while I am sewing or on the computer.

I think my favorite pianist was Roger Bennett. He died of cancer but he left a wonderful legacy!!!

Oh, yeah. My husband is a southern gospel DJ and promoter, and he knows a lot of the singers. I got to talk to Roger at the last quartet convention before he passed away, and we went to his funeral. He was awesome as a piano player and as a human being.

When I work on my computer (which is a lot) I listen to a local radio station.
