A lot of good artists go to the Buitenverwacting teddy bear fair. You buy directly from the artist and get good deal as well. See picture

If you buy directly from the artist you get to know the artist and a lot of clients do get back to buy a second and third bear from you.

Some teddy bear artists do have web sites and they sell their bears online.

There is not a lot of shops that sell artists' Teddy Bears in South-Africa. The shops that are there only stock the bears of a selected "few" artists. The Bear Market on this forum is a great place for artists to sell their Teddy Bears and Gollies.
