How do you display your bears?

I would love to see some pictures of how you display your teddies. I don't really have a display so to speak, they just happen all over!

My teddies are also all over the house. You are right - a display just happen. Here is an old writing desk with my hubbies' Teddy Bear - top right. My little antique Stieff and below the Steiff a miniature artist bear. :)

On this table we have a chess set (we have a couple in the house - display purposes mainly) a picture of the Red Baron and his book and model plane.:)

In this display there is a chess set :)with my first antique bear I made. The antique bear has a maroon glass ball that he plays with. :Winking:

My first Hermann bear I got was Luftikus. He is standing on a book, next to him is an old coin that we have framed with some old blue bottles. Behind him is a map of Spain - we bought on honeymoon:rolleye2: Forgot to add that Old Glory is also there - my son's wooden horse.

I love them elize! I prefer them "just among us" rather than "displayed" as a collection! I really like your "antique" bear with the chess set. I really like chess sets but I can't play with hubby...don't have a chance! My love for my bears has nothing to do with their value either...to me they are valuable!

Thanks, we are not big chess players - we loved the chess pieces as most look like nights.

I don't really set up displays with my bears. They are just scattered here and there. I have a lot of resin bears and they are set everywhere too :laughing:
You know you are in a house that loves bears because I even have one 4 foot tall wooden bear that greets you outside my front door.

You do have a lot of bears! Looks like a very happy bear den. I have a friend here that has a house like that and has one room with just pandas.

We do have a Panda Preserve. :panda::panda::panda:
There are just not many of them in the pictures.

Not all of our Bears want to have their pictures taken. Some of them like to be private. There are some parts of the house that we didn't take pictures of either. We don't like pictures of our bedroom on the internet.

I'd estimate that only about 2/3 of our Bear Den has been pictured.

The Bears love to share and they think the internet is fun but they are also cautious about what they say in the clear, where anybody can see it and read it.

I think bears are naturally shy animals...don't much like everyone looking at them!

It depends on the Bear. Some are very curios and outgoing. Others are very shy and reserved.

I never met two who were exactly alike. Not even two Bears of the exact same species.:papabear:

Those are all the "lookout" Bears. They are up high and they can see between the banister slats. You can see a lot of them looking out and keeping an eye out. :papabear:
