Coloured Bears

Getting a spesific colour you want is not always easy. After quite a lot of sample dying I got this blue and purple for a client.

Thanks , they are 19cm/7,5inches. It was great fun dying the mohair and getting all these weird & wonderful shades of purple and blue. ;)

I make two colored bears. These are of a wonderfully soft white with blue or pink longer tipped faux furs. These are 17 inch bears with velveteen paws.

Beautiful, beautiful colors. I love those soft pastels. They are my favorite color range.

Thanks for the compliments. We have a new mohair dye in South Africa that work so easy and dye mohair so well.

Colored bears do not really sell well now.

Just funny to see your colored bears right now when a customer asked me to make on.
My red old style bears sell very well but other "colors" don't, indeed.
Now I made a this little one - just finished it

bobbybaer I love your new bear. I am currently so busy make arrangements for my move in September. We are also in a process of working on a new business plan (tell you all later more about our new venture :3bears:)

I find that colored bears don't sell as well either. It will bring them to look and you get the ohhh's and ahhh"s but then they buy the traditional colors.

I have an afinity for pink bears...go figure! You are right though, everyone seems to love the colored bears and then they buy the traditional ones.

I'm sorry not to be here so often but after the Paris exhibition and the online show, I'm straight on for the Christmas Market ....
just 2 week remaining to finish my new créations.
So, coming back to colored bears, that I denied so often, I found a small sheet of very colored mohair and transformed it...........
