A special bear

We had a teddy bear shop in our local shopping centre and I loved to go in there and look at the bears. There was this one beautiful Golden bear and he was squashed in a very small shelve. One day, just before my son was born I went in there again and was shocked to see that my beautiful bear was gone. I asked Joan in the shop where is the bear? She looked at me and said: "There was this lady who adored this bear and her husband bought the bear for her" I could not believe that "my" bear was gone. My son was born on 17 September 2002 and when my husband visited us he had this beautiful Golden bear with him. I was very happy to see this beautiful bear "Gold" again. He is very special to me.

My son always ask me to tell him the story of "Gold". He is such a special bear and whenever I look at him I think of the day my son was born.:cloud9:

I just love teddy bear shops.:paw:paw:paw Sadly one of our shops have closed a couple of weeks ago , so now there is no proper teddy bear shop close to me. :cry:

Are you saying there are stores devoted entirely to bears? Oh man, I'd probably think I'd died and gone to heaven. The only thing I've seen like that is Build-a-Bear and Teddybear Factory where you can make your own bears.

WOW Elize, my son will be 38 this month so my bear is really getting up there. He was the first Bialosky made after the movie...there have been many more made since him bit I just love mine!
