A very young collector

Our youngest collector in the house is 5 years old. His collection includes a miniature Steiff, Deans bear, Deb Canham Dragon and miniature artist bear.

So he is only five years old???

Well, you'd better build him soon a giant cabinet for all his bears!

Question : how many bears will he have in his hug at 10? at 20? at 30? at 60? :p


Gotta get prepared... So addicting you can never stop!

The collection is great and so is the boy in the middle of all those critters. You are going to need lots of shelves as he grows up:)

Sophie Thanks. I already gave him one of my old cabinets which he used for his Star Wars ships and Ferrari's. ;)He collects lots of things, Ninja Turtles, Cormitri's , Star War Figurines , Dragons & Knights & Teddy Bears. He will definitely be a collector one day.:)

What a cute collection and a cute little one too! :) He sounds a very promising collector. At 5 he already has artist bears in his collection! That is very cool.

He ordered a miniature purple rabbit at a teddy bear fair in September, when he saw the purple rabbit that was sold he said to the artist he would like a rabbit exactly like the one she sold:rolleye2:.

:) He is lucky to be able to visit teddy bear fairs and live with someone who takes such an interest in them. :) When will his purple rabbit arrive?

Hopeful the purple rabbit will move into the collection on Saturday. As soon as he has arrived I'll let him pose for his picture.

At last! - "The purple rabbit"

He did not move into the collection alone, Rusty (right) and Little Tubby (left-3cm) came along with a plate of cupcakes for all to feast on."happy6:"happy6:"happy6:

I could not resist the cupcakes but it took some time to decide on these with the little roses on as they had so many different cupcakes, big cakes and even donuts.:rolleye:

Yes Jacques I bought Little Tubby as Noddy was feeling all alone in the vintage car. Little Tubby is only 3cm(1") tall and little fellows under 2" are micro size. I now have two micro size fellows in my collection and both are taking a trip in their vintage car to Santa Clause.:santa:

Cute, Elize. I though the car was going fast. LOL I got a vintage rocking horse, wagon and two chairs at the last show I did but have not photographed them yet. This morning I put them in my display for the show I am doing this week. I will try to get them done when the show is over on the 10th.
