pongos bears

Many years ago my father in law had a bear given him as a child, he played with it so much that it was in a very sorry state, with his head held on with an old boot lace and his arms attached with string. Pongo was given to my wife Sue; she loved him very much so decided to get him put back together properly. He had all his joints replaced and a few war woulds tidied up. When my wife decide that he looked lonely sat all by himself on an easy chair she thought that she would look on Ebay and see if she could find him a friend to talk to. Well ..... that was it, they came flooding in from all over the place and we ended up with dozens of bears from all over the country. Without realising it we had just started building our future business. The collecting got bigger and more diverse until we were overrun with small medium and large teddy bears. We started to become more discerning with what we bought until we became very specific with our choices. We setup a business and built a website to promote our Bears and were surprised to see that people kept coming back to buy special bears as presents or a gift for someone. The business has grown and we have found that our "hobby" has become an all-consuming interest, much to the disgust of our now usurped grown-up children and cats!!
