Selling on Ebay is easy BUT getting money to South-Africa is impossible.

I just sold my "vintage style ted" on Ebay but the buyer did not want to do a bank transfer for me so the sale was "canceled". I can not use paypal because they do not have a "service" to South-Africa.

The funny thing is the two Musk brothers that actually build/created "paypal" were born in South-Africa.

Anyone else have "paypal" problems?

I've sold bears on eBay.US in the beginning of this year and have a "prime-paypal-account" ...... Paypal tells you that you can receive upt to
2500 € in one year but as soon as I reached some more than the half, they blocked my account and asked me to send several official documents like copy of passport, proof my incomst by administration documents etc.
All my correspondance was in vain and my account remains blocked - Ineither can close it so that I had to open another account.

Hi Elize
Have you looked at Setcom. As far as I am aware this is a way of South Africans being able to get paid for goods sold on Ebay. Have a look at their site. Presently is is a pain that south Africans are not able to sell on Ebay, and be paid via Paypal. They gladly accept our money, but don't want us to earn any.
