In 1952 Werner Hermann (right next to teddy bear) designed the biggest teddy bear in the world at the time. The bear was 3 metres high and all his limbs were fully jointed, his head, arms and legs were all movable. A heavy lifting truck was needed to load this bear onto the railway wagon. :weird: This bear was designed for a client in Straubing and he was immensely popular. One night thieves attempted to take it away and sadly, in moving it, the giant teddy bear fell, crushing the getaway car and destroying himself.:huh:
