Becky Chase sent me this fur, so I named the bear after her. I was going to keep her, but something told me to give her to a little girl at church. I'm glad I did because she loves that bear so much. Her mom and dad just now sent me the picture they took.

I'm just glad the little girl loves her. That's all I want for my bears. I believe she loves her as much as I do.

Oh yeah. I think she thought at first that I was just letting her hug her because I always let her hug my bears I make. She flipped out when I told her she could keep the bear.

It's probably the greatest feeling a bear artist can ever have. I adore that bear and I was going to keep her for my collection, and it was really hard parting with her, but I think the pleasure it gives me to see that little girl love that bear is worth all the love I could have received from her and then some. I read a beautiful quote posted by a lady on another forum. She said, "Bears are my way of saying I love you." This moved me to tears because that's exactly how I feel.
